I used to dream about creating something of my own — a place where clinical education met true rehabilitation. With persistence, mentorship, and experience, I developed the programs and protocols that became the Orofacial Recovery Institute. Now, I’m using those lessons to help other providers grow their skills, expand their impact, and bring a higher standard of orofacial care to their patients.
The Face of Rehabilitation
For over 20 years, I’ve worked across nearly every corner of healthcare — from the army to dentistry to medical massage to rehabilitation. But it wasn’t just professional experience that shaped the Orofacial Recovery Institute — it was personal.
After undergoing facial surgery and navigating my own recovery journey, I experienced firsthand how fragmented our healthcare system can be. Dentistry and medicine often operate in isolation, leaving patients caught in the middle — especially when it comes to the orofacial complex. I lived that disconnect, and it changed everything.
What began as a search for answers became a mission to bridge those worlds. Drawing on my clinical background and years of interdisciplinary work, I developed the programs and protocols that now define the Orofacial Recovery Institute — integrating medical, dental, and rehabilitative science into a unified, functional model of care.
Today, I teach providers not just what to do, but why it works — empowering them to think critically, treat holistically, and lead the next generation of orofacial rehabilitation.
